Wallis Drilling approached Meyer Productions for a video presentation on their invention; an automated rod handling system. This system is integrated with mobile equipment and platforms to eliminate manual handling fatigue and injuries.

What We Did: Filming commenced as a demonstration of the new system, using a standalone timelapse camera and additional drone footage of the system's operations. Interviews were conducted on-site by staff to elaborate on the impact the new system has on the manual handling process. The video was presented during the Work Health and Safety Excellence Awards, where Wallis Drilling was awarded the “Work health and safety invention of the year” for their Aircore automated rod handling system.
